Reporting to the General Manager, the Marketing Manager oversees the entire marketing lifecycle, including planning, execution, evaluation, and reporting for our client’s full range of products in Canada. The role focuses on maintaining brand identity while driving customer reach, acquisition, conversion, retention, and loyalty. The Marketing Manager works closely with both internal and external stakeholders, with a key emphasis on increasing sales revenue and market share.



Responsibilities:


  • Lead marketing efforts across multiple channels, including trade shows, media campaigns (magazines, digital, radio, TV), and promotional materials (point-of-sale, signage, giveaways).
  • Develop and manage creative content for the website, e-commerce, and social media platforms.
  • Plan and execute product launches, marketing campaigns, contests, and sales promotions, ensuring cross-functional collaboration with sales teams and other departments.
  • Oversee public relations, securing press coverage and building relationships with key media, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Manage ambassador and affiliate programs, including contract negotiations and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with sales and factory teams to drive business growth, identify opportunities, and support key accounts and channels.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive insights, using data to optimize strategies and increase brand awareness.
  • Develop and manage marketing plans, including forecasts, budgets, and performance tracking for campaigns and initiatives.
  • Coordinate in-store dealer support, product placement, and trade show execution for various industries (Outdoor, Law Enforcement, Military/Defense).
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking, while leading CRM improvement initiatives and document control (Salesforce, Dealer Portal).
  • Supervise and motivate staff, ensuring accountability for meeting deadlines, budgets, and brand standards.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including dealers, buyers, and executives.


Qualifications:


  • 5 years experience in marketing , web design and e-commerce
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, experience working with Vector and EPS files, and working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred.
  • Able to create magazine advertising, POP materials, press materials, catalogs, brochures, and other creative collateral.
  • Experience in CRM software - Salesforce.
  • Experience in social media and newsletter campaign development for Business.
  • Ability to speak and present publicly in front of groups - interact with customers at exhibitions and range demonstrations.
  • Excellent motivating and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to analyze data for strategic improvements and growth.
  • Strong project and people management skills.
  • Creative problem solver and strategic thinker with a strong work ethic. Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
  • Has a valid passport: with occasional travel in Canada, the USA and Europe.
  • A reliable vehicle: ability to commute to the Oshawa office daily.
  • Available to work evenings and weekends, based on the needs of the business.
  • Valid PAL, Non-Restricted/Restricted Classification (can be acquired at time of hire- paid for by company ).
  • A criminal background check and security assessment is required.
  • Comfortable working with restricted products in a highly regulated industry
