Director Risk Services Commercial Solutions

As a Director, Risk Services Commercial Solutions, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategic direction of Risk Services from regional and national perspectives. You will manage the provision of advisory, consulting, training, and education services in the Western Region and oversee the operational functions of the department and staff. The objective is to enhance Northbridge’s Commercial Solutions Risk Services’ capabilities in risk underwriting, customer safety solutions, and positioning Northbridge as an industry leader in customer experience and safety. You will provide recommendations to National Risk Services, ensure departmental efficiency, and lead, coach, and mentor your team daily. We want your talent If you excel at: Conducting comprehensive risk assessments across diverse portfolios Providing leadership, coaching, and motivation to staff Maintaining professional relationships with brokers and customers Applying advanced risk management techniques And you have: Post-secondary education in Insurance Management or related field Progress towards or completion of CDS, CIP, or CRM designations 15 years of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance or related field Experience with Property, Casualty, and/or Commercial Auto Previous leadership experience Valid driver’s license with a clean record We prioritize your well-being and growth: Hybrid work model (office and home 50/50) Company vehicle and expense coverage for travel Competitive salary, employee share purchase plan, pension, RRSP, staff insurance discounts Flexible health benefits, wellness programs, rewards, and recognition Educational support for CIP, FCIP, CRM, and other courses Internal mobility, leadership training, and mentoring Community support through donation matching and volunteer days The salary range in Vancouver is $125,000-$150,000, negotiable based on experience.
