Director, Commercial Banking Join National Bank of Canada as a Director, Commercial Banking to grow the portfolio of business clients, serving as the go-to resource for their financial projects. Your role Identify and develop business opportunities in your market, increase your commercial client base, and establish business development strategies. Help clients attain their business objectives by proposing financial strategies based on the most suitable combination of Bank products and services. Meet clients’ changing needs by adapting and optimizing financial products and advice. Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements while ensuring risk management standards and profitability criteria are met. Draw up business development plans. Assist the Regional Vice‑President in reaching objectives. Work with the Manager – Financing Solutions. Actively participate in various networking activities (cocktails, conferences, etc.). Collaborate with all other departments of the Bank. Your team Working in the Commercial Banking and Private Banking 1859 sector, you join a team of professionals supporting business clients and surrounded by specialists such as financing solutions managers to offer the best solutions for our clients’ needs. Reporting to the Associate Vice‑President, you will manage a portfolio of clients covering the Surrey, BC region. Prerequisites At least 5–9 years of experience in sales and business development within the financial industry, adjusted by academic level: University certificate and 9 years’ experience. Bachelor’s degree and 7 years’ experience. Master’s degree and 5 years’ experience. Experience in sales and business development. Experience in analysis of financial statements.
