With over 50 facilities located across Canada and 650 Associates, Applied® supports the steel, mining, forestry, agriculture, automotive, oil and gas, food processing, power generation, pulp and paper, and transportation industries, just to name a few. In addition, Applied provides engineering, design and systems integration for industrial, fluid power, and flow control applications, as well as customized mechanical, fabricated rubber, fluid power, and flow control shop services. Location Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada Responsibilities Inside Sales responsibilities Directly engaged in all sales activities Maintaining up to date knowledge of the company’s service offerings Prospecting for new customers and demonstrating product benefits Build ongoing relationships with customers Responding to customer product inquiries both in person (branch) and via phone/email Providing support to the outside sales force Ensuring accurate, timely order processing through the computerized order processing system Qualifications 2 or more years of Industrial or Fluid Power components sales experience Self-motivated Enthusiastic and exhibits a positive attitude and desire to succeed Interest in customer satisfaction and desire to provide excellent service always Ability to multitask in a busy office environment while maintaining professionalism at all times Attention to detail Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Analytical and problem solving capability Computer literacy with focus on Outlook, Word, Excel and SAP SAP experience would be an asset Benefits Competitive compensation and bonus opportunities Health, vision, and dental coverage, RRSP w/ company match Paid vacation, sick time, and company holidays Tuition reimbursement and opportunities for development Company supported community involvement opportunities We are an equal opportunity employer.
