Audit & Assurance Manager (Hybrid-remote) - Tech Team We are seeking a forward-thinking Audit & Assurance Manager to join our specialized Tech Team, supporting high-growth companies in the technology sector. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative clients navigating complex reporting frameworks, funding structures, and regulatory landscapes. You’ll lead assurance engagements, manage a team, and collaborate with senior leadership across offices in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities Manage assurance, accounting, and tax services for a portfolio of tech-focused private and public clients. Lead audit engagements from planning through client review and financial statement sign-off. Provide strategic insights to clients on ASPE, IFRS, and US GAAP reporting requirements. Collaborate with startups, scale-ups, and venture/PE-backed businesses to support financial operations and compliance. Mentor and manage a team of accountants, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to client growth strategies. Ensure reporting deadlines are met and engagement quality is maintained. Qualifications University degree with a specialization in Accounting. CPA, CA, or equivalent designation (completed or near completion). Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience, ideally with exposure to technology clients. Strong understanding of ASPE, IFRS, and US GAAP. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with audit, accounting, and tax software (e.g., CaseWare, Taxprep, QuickBooks). Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality client service. Location Ottawa, ON (Hybrid work environment) Compensation Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Why join us?
