Audit & Assurance Manager 1 - Tech Portfolio Overview Audit & Assurance Manager - Tech Portfolio. Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr. Hybrid flexibility with over 100 years of success. Responsibilities Manage the accounting, assurance and tax service needs of a portfolio of private and public clients. Manage the engagement process from initial scheduling and planning through to client review and financial statement sign off. Meet with clients regarding financial statements, other business matters and engagement issues. Support personal and corporate tax filings. Discuss proposed time budgets with partners and assign engagement budgets to staff. Identify new business opportunities with new and existing clients. Manage and mentor a team of Accountants. Ensure reporting deadlines are monitored and reported against on a regular basis. Work directly with high-growth tech clients, providing strategic insights and scalable financial solutions. Qualifications University degree with a specialization in Accounting. CPA, CA, or equivalent designation (completed or near completion). Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience. Exposure to technology clients. Strong knowledge of accounting and assurance principles. Experience with assurance, accounting and tax software (e.g., CaseWare, Taxprep, QuickBooks). Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality client service. Location & Type Location: Toronto, ON (occasional hybrid-remote flexibility). Employment type: Full-time.
