Job Overview Our client, a well established company in Toronto is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to cover a 9 to 12months period with possibility to extend further. As the Senior Accountant, you will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting. If you are looking for a workplace where you have opportunity to build on your accounting career, we need to hear from you Responsibilities This position is responsible for the monthly reporting of the financial results of several entities and preparing the monthly financial package to Senior Leadership. You will assist in the preparation of related journal entries and manage the consolidation entries according to IFRS and Company policy. You will track the performance of several entities and manage the related schedules to reconcile to the Balance Sheet. In addition, you will be called upon to support Ad-hoc requests within the Accounting Team in a timely manner.
