Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Senior Executive Recruiter | Accounting Advantage/HROne/Pro Fit Executive Search (Appleone Group of Companies) Senior Accountant $80-85K Our client is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their Premium & Carrier Operations team. This role focuses on complex reconciliations, premium and claims reporting, and carrier remittances; ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across financial operations. What You’ll Do Complete complex account and bank reconciliations (including BDX and balance sheet accounts) Prepare and reconcile monthly Bordereaux (BDX) reports; analyze variances and timing differences Upload and maintain carrier BDX reports within contract deadlines Manage premium trust subledger accounts and ensure accurate application of payments Investigate and resolve mismatches across GL, AP, AR, and banking transactions Extract, reconcile, and report data from multiple sources Create tracking and variance reports to monitor issues and aging Respond to internal and external inquiries and provide root‑cause analysis What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a complex, data‑driven environment Strong understanding of AR/AP processes and reconciliation workflows Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, data matching, variance analysis) Proven ability to troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve accounting issues independently Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills Experience with Great Plains (Dynamics GP) preferred Nice to Have Experience in insurance, claims, or premium accounting Familiarity with complex bank reconciliations and manual data processes Strong analytical mindset with a continuous improvement approach Why You’ll Love Working Here Mainly working from home, in office once a week Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to work with large data sets and impactful financial operations Company‑provided laptop and hybrid flexibility Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Accounting/Auditing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Accounting Advantage by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Accountant” roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
