Lead Commissioning and Readiness: Plan commissioning and integrated systems testing; oversee development of maintenance procedures, asset data collection, O&M manuals, and training plans; support the transition to operations by ensuring technical and support service teams are prepared for activation. Lead Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate engagement of hospital facilities, security, ICAT, and related technical SMEs; represent and consolidate stakeholder input in design reviews, commissioning activities, and operational planning; ensure operational considerations are integrated into Alliance decisions and technical reviews. Coordinate On‑Site Activities: Coordinate DD work, early works, site utilities, and any enabling activities occurring in parallel with Alliance development work; work with construction partners to plan shutdowns, system tie‑ins, infection control measures, and safety requirements. Support Alliance Project Management and Governance: Contribute to structured project management processes within the Alliance, including issue tracking, risk reviews, schedule coordination, and integrated planning; participate in the preparation of governance materials for the Alliance Management Team and NYGH internal committees; maintain clear, organized documentation and ensure communication pathways support timely decision making across the project. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Health Administration, Facilities Operations or Project Management designation or equivalent experience. Master’s Degree in related field preferred. Project Management designation (PMP) would be an asset. Minimum 5 years’ experience with facilities design, technical project delivery, building systems coordination, commissioning, or infrastructure planning within a healthcare or complex institutional environment. Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary operational and technical stakeholders, such as engineering, ICAT, building automation, security, environmental services, logistics, utilities, and other support service teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with hospital leaders, interprofessional teams, consultants, and project partners.
