If so, we’re looking for a Senior Web Developer to own the technical side of all web properties on the Marketing Team. As a Senior Web Developer, you will design, build and run our web growth initiatives and continuously iterate to maximize impact on metrics like revenue, customer growth, retention, or engagement. Collectively with Product, Design, and Engineering, you will build user-facing features, activation experiences, and many other areas to improve the overall website user experience. The ideal candidate for this role is more than a technical ace; you are a strategic thinker and a natural collaborator. You will act as the crucial bridge between our marketing vision and its technical execution. Success in this position means fluently translating marketing goals into scalable web architecture and, just as importantly, articulating technical possibilities and constraints to your non-technical partners. We're looking for someone who can proactively consult on campaign strategies, advise on the best technological approach, and empower the entire marketing team to think bigger about our digital footprint. We want you to grow both as a guide and a technologist so we’ll provide mentorship from our marketing authorities & our engineers. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and approaches that are not limited to website development but will also give you a comprehensive grasp of the entire product. Responsibilities Design and implement highly receptive web-based user interface Develop the latest user-facing features using React.js Build reusable components and front-end libraries on Contentful Serve as a strategic technical partner across the company, actively contributing to and providing solutions that balance creative vision with technical feasibility to achieve business goals like site speed, SEO and conversion rate optimization. Champion web development best practices across the organization, mentoring colleagues and empowering the broader team to understand the "why" behind technical decisions Collaborate with back-end and API developers to enhance the user experience Write tests for new and existing features to improve overall test coverage Architect and build the Next application framework so we can use custom as well as out of the box component on Contentful Translate complex technical concepts into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring marketing and product teams are aligned on project scope, capabilities, and timelines. Skills and Qualifications 5-10 years of experience as a full stack web developer with overall programming experience Has lead technical solutioning and architecture for new marketing initiatives, mapping business requirements to robust, scalable, and elegant web solutions on our platform A portfolio of demonstrated success in XFN collaboration across marketing, engineering, product, growth, and more. Experience with React is required (bonus points for Next.js) Enterprise level CMS experience required, bonus point for Contentful Expertise in developing web applications with React, Hooks, and TypeScript Familiarity with server-side development frameworks and concepts (along with a desire to learn) Experienced in writing unit tests using JEST framework or any similar framework Familiar with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Webpack, NPM etc. Experience with GraphQL, CSS and familiar with preprocessors Familiarity of modern software development techniques such as continuous integration & distributed version control 100% medical, dental and vision coverage Flexible PTO policy Annual home office stipend and WeWork access Mental & physical health wellness programs (One Medical, Headspace, Wellhub, and more) Competitive compensation and opportunity for advancement Compensation Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $136,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,737/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location.
