TFI International is a North American leader in the transportation and logistics industry, operating across Canada and the United States through its subsidiaries.   TForce Freight Canada I.T. department supports multiple TFI International operating divisions out of its Mississauga, Oakville and Bolton locations and has an immediate opening for a Systems Analyst in its Bolton office.  While this position is based in the Bolton office, an on-site presence will also be required at various GTA divisional locations.

This position will be part of our team of I.T. professionals providing support to our end user community.   Responsibilities will focus on supporting the TruckMate Transportation Management System used by various divisions to manage their operations and administration.  Additional software modules requiring support include Transflo (Microdea) Synergize and also Crystal Reports.

Upon starting this position, extensive training will be provided and there will be an immersion into the various business processes.  This will provide an understanding of the company dynamics and technology in use, resulting in the knowledge to effectively leverage the existing TMS and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.    A proven track record demonstrating success in this type of role is essential to be considered for this position.

Job Responsibilities

-         Conduct gap analyses and identify opportunities for process automation

-         Participate in product evaluations, vendor assessments, RFI/RFP as necessary

-         Liaise between the business and the software providers

-         Project manage version updates to the TMS and related software packages

-         Assist in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technologies

-         Consult with business subject matter experts to identify, define and document business requirements and objectives, current operational procedures, input and output requirements.

Qualifications

-         Good knowledge of process design, process flows and mapping

-         Solid business analysis and project management skills

-         Experience in documenting processes and procedures

-         Proven ability to take business requirements and deliver an effective software solution

-         Strong software troubleshooting skills

-         Strong SQL and technical skills


The successful candidate will be a self-starter and be able to demonstrate that they can work independently.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong desire to succeed and the ability to see projects through to completion are key to this position.  Experience in the transportation industry and exposure to Truckmate, Synergize and Crystal Reports is a definite asset.  This position is a Monday to Friday work week but could require some afterhours support as needed.  We offer a dynamic work environment, competitive compensation and extended medical benefits.
