We are currently seeking an **Operations Analyst** to join our team. This role will focus on optimizing our logistics processes and enhancing supply chain efficiency. Reporting to the Director, Warehousing Operations, the Operations Analyst will be responsible for analyzing operational data, identifying process improvements, and implementing solutions to streamline fulfillment and distribution activities. Key responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, generating reports, and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations across the company.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Develop and support KPI reports/scorecards for the Operations team.
- Analyze warehouse operations data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights to management to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Perform analysis, provide reporting and presentations, and work with the team to determine the most efficient, cost-effective solutions and aid in their implementation.
- Ensure business SOPs, work instructions, and other training materials are kept current.
- Proactively work with the business to solve problems and improve processes.
- Analyze reports and create metrics within the distribution area.
- Support and engage in strategic projects as needed.
- Manage and optimize the WMS and SAP systems to ensure they support efficient warehouse operations.
- Configure WMS settings and workflows to meet operational needs, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve any WMS or SAP-related issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at reducing operational costs, improving service levels, and increasing overall productivity.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for warehouse operations.
- Provide training and support to warehouse staff on WMS and SAP systems.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to ensure staff proficiency in using the systems and following SOPs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any WMS or SAP-related queries or issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as an Operations Analyst or similar role in logistics.
- Strong proficiency with WMS and SAP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in developing and delivering training materials.
