Role Summary  

As a Lighting Planner, you will be responsible for creating detailed lighting plans, reading blueprints, and driving the process from specification to quote creation. You will develop custom lighting designs, including kitchen lighting plans, and generate comprehensive specifications and documentation to effectively communicate design concepts. Additionally, you will work closely with our sales team and our customers to integrate lighting solutions seamlessly into overall design plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.

You will demonstrate brand ambassadorship in representing Hafele with the highest level of professionalism at all times aligned with our core values. 

 

 Essential duties and responsibilities:  

  •  Develop a comprehensive understanding of Hafele’s Lighting products, including specifications, features, and applications. 
  • Develop and implement a plan from Lighting design to a complete bill of materials. 
  • Work effectively with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Purchasing) teams to enrich the customer experience. 
  • You will provide further support and project management for more complex Hafele lighting project business needs. 
  •  You will be supporting and designing custom (Made-To-Order) items which includes lighting projects and lighting designs. 

    

 Skills/Competencies:   

  •  Bilingual English / French is required.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach and a focus on delivering exceptional service. 
  • Recent graduates of Interior Design, Architectural Technologist & relevant business degrees strongly preferred. 
  • Lighting experience preferred 
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Knowledge of SAP is a strong asset 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively 
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings  
  • Knowledge of Interior & Kitchen Design an asset 
  • Adobe Suite of Products (Illustrator, Creative Cloud, Photoshop) experience.
