Business Analyst

Job Summary Progressive Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst (Remote) to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business improvements, interpreting data trends, and recommending impactful changes that enhance operational efficiency and align with company goals. Key Responsibilities Analyze business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to design and implement solutions Conduct market and competitor analysis to provide actionable insights Support project planning, testing, implementation, and change management efforts Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on business trends Create detailed business analysis reports and presentations for leadership teams Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven analysis Assist with quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT) Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Familiarity with business analysis frameworks and methodologies (e.g., SWOT, PESTLE, Agile) Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience Minimum 2–4 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role Experience in remote working environments is preferred Proven experience with requirements gathering, data modeling, and business process mapping Working Hours Full-time remote position Flexible working hours with availability for core business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) Occasional meetings in different time zones may be required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of business structures and project life cycles Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving Comfort with collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, JIRA, and Confluence Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Flexible remote work environment Paid time off, including vacation and personal days Health, dental, and vision insurance Career development support and ongoing training Performance bonuses and incentive programs Inclusive, team-oriented company culture Why Join Progressive Technology?
