In this key role, you will assist the Activity & Volunteer Manager in planning and implementing stimulating recreational programs tailored to residents' needs. Collaboration and communication will be vital as you foster a team-oriented environment with staff and volunteers. Your ability to engage with seniors compassionately will create lasting memories and positive interactions.
Key Responsibilities: • Support the planning of meaningful recreational activities • Communicate actively with residents and family members • Manage and organize recreational supplies and equipment • Participate in ongoing resident care assessments • Oversee compliance with health and safety protocols
Requirements: • Diploma in therapeutic recreation or related field • Experience in a Long-Term Care environment preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication • Commitment to uplifting elderly residents • Physically fit to assist with activities
