Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator Role

Join Humber River Health as an Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator in a part-time capacity. In this pivotal role, you will support staff across multiple locations by providing mentorship, conducting training sessions, and implementing strategic IPAC measures. Working alongside community partners, you will help enhance the understanding and application of infection control standards within these vital environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Build IPAC capacity through mentorship and coaching
• Support outbreak management planning efforts
• Conduct educational training for staff on IPAC
• Develop and review IPAC policies and procedures
• Facilitate assessments and audits for program improvement

Requirements:

• Driver's license for travel between sites
• Degree in related healthcare discipline required
• Ontario registration as a healthcare professional preferred
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or enrollment in program
• At least two years of experience in IPAC desired
