This role requires an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal with a focus on Securities. You will work closely with securities lawyers while also supporting corporate commercial efforts. Contributing to various regional projects and managing administrative tasks is integral to this dynamic position.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft securities legal opinions for clients
• Serve as the first contact for private companies
• Assist in closing agendas for offerings and mergers
• Prepare documentation for continuous disclosure obligations
• Ensure accurate filings with securities regulators
Requirements:
• Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma required
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Alberta Securities Commission regulations
• Proficiency with SEDAR+ and SEDI software
• Strong analytical and communication skills needed Utilize your expertise in securities law to support iR Corp's corporate team and elevate client service.
