Enhance your IT skills as an Infrastructure & Support Summer Student with TAQA North in Calgary. This summer role involves supporting user devices and IT service management tasks.
Full-time from May to August 2027, this position is ideal for computer science students ready to gain hands-on experience. Reporting to the Supervisor of Infrastructure & Support, you will handle user administration, troubleshoot applications, and assist in hardware setup. Collaborate with a dedicated team while embracing your interest in technology and support practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with the service desk team to learn support techniques
- Assist new users in onboarding and setup
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues
- Prepare and manage hardware for deployment
- Keep records of hardware and maintain inventory
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a computer science bachelor's degree
- Available full-time in Calgary during the work term
- Attach unofficial or official transcript with application
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Background check and references required for the role
