We are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to support a major energy construction project in the Edmonton area. This is a site-based role requiring strong field coordination experience on large, mega oil & gas / petrochemical / industrial projects. Role Overview The Construction Coordinator will coordinate on-site construction activities, support contractor execution, and ensure work is delivered safely, in compliance with regulations, and aligned with schedule and budget objectives. Key Responsibilities include:Coordinate daily on-site construction activities across multiple work frontsLiaise with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectorsSupport construction sequencing and scheduling in alignment with the project planMonitor progress, identify risks or constraints, and support mitigation actionsEnsure compliance with applicable building codes, regulatory requirements, and site standardsTrack construction costs and support budget and change management activitiesProvide regular construction status updates and reports to project leadershipPromote safe work practices and adherence to site safety requirementsRequired Qualifications: 10–20 years of experience in construction coordination or project managementExperience on major Oil & Gas, Energy, Industrial, or Petrochemical projectsStrong contractor coordination and field execution backgroundStrong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skillsValid driver’s licenseMust be local to the Edmonton / Fort Saskatchewan / Sherwood Park areaLegally permitted to work in CanadaOur role in supporting diversity and inclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
