**Job Summary**:
Established in 1989, Eton-West Construction (ALTA) Inc. is a General Contractor based in Edmonton with ongoing projects in and around the surrounding area, a branch office in Calgary, as well as current projects in BC. We specialize in the commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.

We are looking for a full-time construction Estimator/Project Coordinator for our Edmonton office. Reporting to the Vice Presidents, you will be working together with our project managers from tendering projects to project close-outs. The position is office based with regular visits to the job site(s).

**General Skills / Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s licence and your own vehicle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Flexibility with schedule; ability to travel locally as needed
- At least three years of experience in commercial construction estimation is preferred
- Willing to do estimator and project coordinator duties as required

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Perform estimating and project coordinator tasks
- Assist the project manager(s) in estimating and coordinating construction activities, manage subcontractors, and work with superintendents to manage the day-to-day operations
- Make regular site visits with owners and consultants to review project progress and perform safety inspections
- Communicate with project team members (owners, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers) digitally, verbally, and in written formats
- Collaborate with project manager(s) in preparing budgets and estimates for tenders
- Participate in creating project safety and logistics plans
- Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements with owners and subcontractors
- Manage project documents such as change orders, requests for information, and schedule updates
- Participate in project close-out activities such as deficiency reviews, prepare substantial completion certificates, and ensure close-out documents are received from consultants and trades
- Coordinate project deliverables to ensure schedule is achieved

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
