**Construction Coordinator**

**Job Type**: Full-Time (with opportunity for Part-Time)
**Compensation**: Commensurate with experience

**About the Role**

We are seeking a Construction Coordinator to support the completion of the East Pine residential development in Beaumont, Alberta — including both the townhome and apartment buildings. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on in the field, coordinating between site and office teams, and helping ensure projects are delivered with precision, quality, and efficiency.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating inspections, managing site progress, and keeping communication flowing between the general contractors, and leadership team.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Site Presence & Coordination**
- Attend and document all site inspections, deficiency walk-throughs, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews.
- Conduct weekly site meetings with the General Contractor to review schedules, progress, and any outstanding or emerging issues.
- Track and coordinate change orders, ensuring updates are communicated clearly to the in-office project and finance teams.

**Reporting & Communication**
- Prepare concise weekly updates summarizing site progress, inspection outcomes, and any risks or schedule impacts.
- Schedule and lead a weekly coordination meeting with the in-office team to ensure alignment across construction, finance, and design.

**Project Support**
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including inspection reports, meeting minutes, and change logs.
- Support QA/QS oversight by verifying completed work aligns with design and specification requirements.
- Liaise with consultants, trades, and municipal inspectors as required to ensure timely resolution of site issues.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent field experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in construction coordination, project support, or site management.
- Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing, inspection processes, and deficiency management.
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Procore or equivalent construction software is considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to attend site in Beaumont weekly.
