Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team in Kelowna. The ideal candidate will coordinate daily delivery operations, manage communication with drivers and clients, and ensure all routes run smoothly and on schedule. This role requires strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast- paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, assign, and monitor delivery routes across the Okanagan and Thompson areas.

Communicate with drivers throughout the day to handle scheduled updates, delays, or changes.

Coordinate with clients to confirm delivery details and resolve issues quickly and professionally.

Monitor real time delivery progress and update tracking systems as needed.

Ensure all orders and paperwork are accurate and completed on time.

Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to optimize routes and reduce delays.

Handle after hours or urgent communication when necessary

Maintain a professional and supportive relationship with all drivers and customers.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination preferred.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

Proficiency with dispatching software, GPS tracking, and basic Excel and google sheets.

Knowledge of the Okanagan Thompson region geography is an asset.

Flexible and reliable - able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Schedule

Full-time Monday to Friday

Occasional weekend or after-hours communication may be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
