Overview

We are seeking 1st year to journeyman residential electrician. We cater to to Calgary and surrounding areas. Journeyman will be provided a company vehicle all other years must have own transportation. Electrician must have residential experience. Other benefits of our company is a 10% stat & holiday pay, golf tournaments and xmas parties.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in residential environments.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely.
  • Work on low voltage systems as well as high voltage power supplies, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical works
  • Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work, including lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or remodeling projects to ensure electrical components are correctly integrated.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with residential electrician background.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical codes.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in electrical work.
  • Experience with low voltage wiring and systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
