We have operations in both shopping centres and festivals, and are best known for our tanghulu, the #1 fresh fruit dessert on the market. Our mall locations are based in Ottawa, London, and the GTA, with plans for significant expansion in the coming years. Your Opportunity

This is a full-time, 8 to 16-month position, starting January 2026, and is open only to students in a registered Co-op Program. Option to work part time prior to January 2026 is available to successful candidates.

We are looking for a Social Media and Digital Marketing Co-Op student to build our brand online. This role will take ownership of social media planning and content creation, work with influencers, create original content that follows current trend and relates to our brand. In addition, this role will monitor and engage with online audiences, and update the website. The role will also support graphic design activities, such as promotion marketing, menu updates, etc. The individual will be a critical part of the marketing team in executing Super Crunch Tanghulu's brand identity across all digital platforms.

Please Note: This role is HYBRID and requires occasionally commuting to one of our stores to film marketing content (London, Toronto, or Ottawa depending on the candidate's location).

Responsibility

Social Media & Reputation

  • Own and manage TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook accounts, ensuring consistent and engaging content aligned with Betz's premium brand.
  • Develop and execute content calendars, seasonal promotions, and storytelling campaigns.
  • Monitor and respond to Google Reviews with professionalism and timeliness, ensuring a positive brand perception.

Marketing & Campaigns

  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns (digital + offline) to promote seasonal services, new offerings, and premium brand positioning.
  • Work with marketing team to design promotional materials, advertisements, and event campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing efforts support revenue growth targets.
  • Plan, outline and coordinate photo/video shoots as and when needed for social or digital purposes
  • Be confident to create, perform in + edit digital content, both stills and videos
  • Create images on Photoshop and indesign for print and digital production

Customer Communications

  • Create and manage customer email campaigns that highlight services, promotions, and seasonal programs.
  • Ensure messaging is brand-consistent and customer-centric.

Website & Digital

  • Implement website changes and updates, keeping service offerings, promotions, and key pages fresh.
  • Ensure website and campaigns are optimized for lead generation.
  • Stay current with digital marketing and pool industry trends to propose innovative ideas.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track KPIs such as engagement, reach, conversions, campaign ROI, and review ratings.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership with actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Business program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated digital and interactive experience
  • Experience in social media and digital marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to create, produce + edit social media posts independently
  • Follower of social trends and ability to edit content quickly to ensure the brand capitalizes on moment marketing
  • Takes initiative and also takes direction
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and have excellent communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial team player with a focus on creating craveable content
  • Enjoys a fast paced environment with ability to set priorities to maximum productivity and focused business results
  • Strong project management, analytical, organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to think and operate strategically, creatively and tactically
