Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting construction projects through various manual tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the construction industry while contributing to the successful completion of diverse building projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
  • Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools
  • Perform basic demolition tasks as directed by supervisors
  • Dig trenches, mix concrete, and assist with foundation work
  • Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times
  • Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed

Skills

  • Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
  • Good communication skills for teamwork and safety coordination
  • Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment (nice-to-have)
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site
  • Prior experience in construction or related fields is advantageous but not required
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

This position is vital for the successful execution of construction projects, offering hands-on experience in the field. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $17.75-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
