Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Vac Truck Driver to operate tandem axle vac trucks servicing construction projects and commercial clients throughout the city. This is a full-time position on an afternoon / night shift based out of Port Coquitlam, with overtime frequently available.

Duties

  • Operate tandem axle septic/vac trucks to service job sites and commercial clients
  • Complete and submit daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Pump and transport septic and liquid waste in accordance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Maintain proper documentation and service logs
  • Ensure the vac truck is kept clean and in good working order
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers on-site
  • Comply with all safety protocols and company policies
  • Assist with basic automotive repair and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Operate other trucks as required

Requirements

  • Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement (required)
  • Experience operating Vac Trucks / Septic Trucks (required)
  • Strong understanding of job site operations, especially construction sites
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physically capable of manual labour and outdoor work in all weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety-first mindset
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
  • Experience with automotive repair is a plus.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
