Job Overview

Mr. Handyman of Niagara Region is seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman to join our team. We take pride in providing top-quality home improvement, repair, and maintenance services to residential and commercial clients throughout the Niagara area.

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of trade skills, a strong work ethic, and a customer-focused mindset. You'll be responsible for performing general repairs, completing small remodeling projects, and ensuring each job is done efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties, including carpentry, drywall repair, tiling, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical work.
  • Conduct routine inspections and assessments to identify necessary repairs or improvements.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to service requests, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of all tasks.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and equipment in good working condition while following all safety protocols.
  • Work independently or in collaboration with other tradespeople on larger or specialized projects.
  • Track and document materials used, time spent, and work completed for each job.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by clearly communicating with clients and representing Mr. Handyman with professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or in a related trade.
  • Strong knowledge of general home repair techniques and maintenance practices, particularly in drywall repair and tile work.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders effectively.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, and perform manual labor as required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
