The
Category Manager
– Indirect
manages the global sourcing strategy for non-production spend (Professional Services, IT, Logistics, Facilities, MRO, etc.). This role partners closely with local purchasing teams and functions to ensure strategies are effectively implemented, driving cost optimization and service quality.

As Category Manager - Indirect, you must be able to
- Define and implement a global category strategy for indirect spend areas including IT and telecom, facilities management, HR services, and logistics, ensuring alignment with business needs, operational priorities, and corporate objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with strategic service providers to optimize supplier base, enhance value delivery, and ensure service quality, responsiveness, and innovation across the assigned categories.
- Collaborate with site and functional stakeholders to deploy category strategies consistently across all locations, ensuring compliance, operational fit, and realization of targeted benefits.
- Conduct spend analysis, benchmark studies, and market assessments to uncover cost-saving opportunities, improve service delivery models, and identify bundling or consolidation opportunities across business units.
- Lead commercial negotiations and establish global framework agreements, while providing support to local procurement teams on tactical sourcing and implementation where needed.
- Partner cross-functionally with IT, HR, Facilities, Finance, and Logistics stakeholders to ensure that sourcing strategies support business objectives, project timelines, technical specifications, and user experience expectations.
- Implement and monitor supplier performance KPIs, SLA adherence, and risk mitigation strategies and conduct supplier reviews and audits to ensure contract compliance and service excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support adoption of best practices across the procurement organization.
- Drive measurable impact through KPIs including cost savings achieved, SLA Compliance rate, Supplier Consolidation Ratio, supplier performance (compliance and OTD), sourcing cycle time, PO compliance, % of spend with preferred suppliers etc.
What Makes You An Asset To Our Team

- 7 ans d'expérience en approvisionnement stratégique ou en gestion de catégories, idéalement dans un environnement technologique de pointe ou manufacturier.
- Antécédents probants en négociation avec les fournisseurs et en développement de partenariats stratégiques.
- Expérience avec les systèmes ERP (de préférence SAP) et les outils d'approvisionnement.
- Solides compétences analytiques et en communication; capacité à travailler de façon interfonctionnelle et à influencer les parties prenantes.
