The Community Manager is responsible for the daily operations and overall well-being of a multifamily housing community. This role serves as the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring exceptional service, smooth building operations, and a welcoming environment. The Community Manager builds strong resident relationships, oversees leasing and maintenance coordination, and ensures the property is well-maintained, safe, and fully occupied. This position requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a solutions-focused mindset to support both residents and the broader KEILTY team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the community, ensuring the property is clean, safe, and running smoothly.
- Serve as the main point of contact for residents, providing timely, professional responses to inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
- Coordinate all maintenance activities, unit turnovers, vendor work, and emergency responses.
- Lead marketing and leasing efforts to maintain strong occupancy and support revenue goals.
- Build a strong sense of community through resident engagement, events, communication, and social media presence.
- Maintain accurate records, lease documentation, and communication logs within the property management system.
- Monitor property performance, assist with Accounts Receivable processes, and manage expenses within approved budgets.
- Ensure prompt handling of rent arrears, notices, invoices, and other required administrative tasks.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about local competition, pricing, and amenity trends.
- Inspect the property regularly to uphold cleanliness, safety, and brand standards.
- Collaborate with contractors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure quality outcomes.
- Enforce community policies and lease terms fairly and consistently.
- Support move-in/move-out processes to ensure a high-quality resident experience.
- Represent KEILTY as the community's on-site ambassador, building positive relationships with residents, neighbours, and local partners.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
