Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Duties

  • Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
  • Cook dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Assist with food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
  • Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
  • Ensure all food served meets safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages

Skills

  • Proven experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices in the food industry
  • Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
