Personal Injury Law Clerk (Tort)

In-office | Toronto, ON

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 (commensurate with experience)

We are urgently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Law Clerk to join a busy and reputable Toronto law firm. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in tort law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage files independently from intake through to trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft pleadings, motion records, affidavits, and correspondence.

  • Manage all aspects of tort files including discoveries, mediations, and pre-trials.

  • Communicate with clients, adjusters, experts, and opposing counsel.

  • Maintain deadlines and coordinate with lawyers for court filings and case updates.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in personal injury litigation (tort focus).

  • Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure.

  • Proficiency with Legal software

  • Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $70,000–$75,000
