We are seeking to hire an immigration litigation clerk with at least three years of relevant Canadian experience. While the primary focus will be on assisting with judicial reviews, as well as some refugee and H&Cs files, processing experience will be considered an asset. We operate on a hybrid model but are open to fully remote work. We seek someone personable, committed to excellence, and comfortable with a volume-driven practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with Federal Court, refugee, H&C, and regular immigration files.

Liaise with clients in a professional and courteous manner.

·    

Monitor Canadian immigration developments (case law, guidelines, manuals, etc).

· Utilize the firm's practice management system (Clio) to initiate new matters, docket time, and record

information.

· Manage caseload and monitor deadlines.

· Provide updates to lawyers and clients.

What You Bring:

·
A minimum of three years of full-time Canadian immigration experience, with a demonstrated ability

to carry out tasks independently.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·
Experience drafting affidavits and submissions.

·

Strong Adobe, MS Word, and Clio (or other practice management tool) skills.

· Knowledge of Federal Court procedure.

·
Exceptional client service attitude and professional demeanor when dealing with clients and

colleagues in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· Russian or another language in addition to English can be an asset.

Compensation:

· Salary range: $60,000-$70,000 (commensurate with experience)
