This is a 6 months contract located in Toronto/Ontario, Hybrid

*4 days in office per week with 1 work from home day per week*

Job Requirements:


• Read and understand financial statements (company prepared, notice to reader, review engagement, and audited).


• Keen attention to detail


• Working knowledge of standard Microsoft desktop software, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word.


• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while ensuring work is of high quality


• Problem solving ability


• Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and inter-personal skills


• Work experience in accounting or finance is preferred.

Education:


• Minimum post-secondary education, Commerce or Business Administration degree is a requirement, specialization in accounting or finance is preferred

Must haves:

  • Read and understand financial statements

  • GAAP knowledge

  • Some experience working in accounting or finance related role

  • MS office
