Our client, a leader in their industry is adding a highly skilled
Senior Accountant
to join their finance team and contribute to the organization's continued success.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial tasks, overseeing the accounting team, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. You will collaborate with various departments to analyze financial data, provide strategic insights, and support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations while continuously improving financial procedures and internal controls

  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts, presenting findings to management and key stakeholders

  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial information for strategic planning purposes

  • Analyze financial data, trends, and variances, offering insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks

  • Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and other external parties to facilitate audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance

  • Implement and maintain accounting software systems, streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior staff members, fostering a supportive and high-performing team culture

  • Participate in special projects, initiatives, or process improvements to support the finance department and overall organizational goals

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred

  • Proven experience (5 years) in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting, analysis, and management

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (GAAP/IFRS)

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills

  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

  • Leadership abilities with a collaborative and team-oriented approach

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively
