This exciting full-time opportunity is perfect for a social media enthusiast who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and wants to make a real impact on our community engagement and customer experience.Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator supports the Bay Centre's marketing program at property level by effectively implementing JLL's marketing pillars (Leasing, Sales, and Revenue), tools, and core practices to drive results and meet client expectations. You'll be at the forefront of the Bay Centre's digital presence while ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all touchpoints.This is a fixed term position until January 2027. If you are an outgoing, fun-loving, positive person who loves creating exceptional customer experiences, we want to hear from youWhat this job involves: Integrated Marketing SupportCollaborate with a small marketing team to implement strategies from the property marketing plan.Participate in all phases of events and programs, from planning to post-event analysis including seasonal campaigns (Christmas, Festival of Trees Victoria, tourism and more), community events, and promotional initiatives.Manage logistics for in-mall campaigns, including installations, load-in/out, site setup, and brand ambassadors.Execute the local Tourism Program, collaborating with the Guest Services team and hospitality partners.Coordinate eye-catching visual merchandising displays.Foster strong relationships with tenants and community partners.Support retailer engagement through quarterly meetings and collaborative programs.Prepare comprehensive monthly performance reports.Perform other duties as assigned.Digital Media LeadershipDevelop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.Create engaging daily digital content and oversee professional photo/video shoots.Design and implement weekly, monthly, and annual social media campaigns that drive foot traffic and engagement.Manage paid advertising campaigns on Meta platforms with budget accountability.Build vibrant online communities through influencer partnerships and authentic engagement.Maintain dynamic website content including promotions and tenant information.Execute compelling blog content through copywriting, editing, and publishing;Analyze performance metrics and optimize content strategies for maximum ROI.Guest Services ExcellenceLead our Guest Services program, setting the standard for exceptional customer experiences.Train and mentor team members to deliver consistent, professional service.Oversee both traditional guest services desk and innovative remote kiosk operations.Support Guest Services on the Gift Card program and assist with customer feedback and queries.Support on-site marketing activations and events.Manage financial reconciliation and reporting.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in marketing, events, retail, digital marketing, or advertising.Post-secondary education in Marketing or related field is an assetStrategic expertise in social media marketing across multiple platforms.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Analytics, Canva, and video editing software (CapCut preferred).Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a valuable asset.Strong organizational and event coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently.Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure, maintaining accuracy and quality.Technologically savvy and resourceful, with experience in content creation for digital platforms, including web and social media.Excellent written and oral communication skills, including editing, proofreading, and graphic design.Skilled storyteller with persuasive abilities.Professional judgment, strong work ethic, and a results-driven attitude.Drive to exceed expectations and continuously improve.Strong interest in customer service and dedication to task execution.Collaborative and team-oriented with a positive attitude, sense of humor, and resilience.Excellent interpersonal skills for working with peers, management, contractors, and support teams.Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.Preferred but not required: shopping center experience, corporate setting experience, and sponsorship/revenue generation experience. Estimated compensation for this position: 54,000.00 – 60,000.00 CAD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
