The company has grown over the years and now logs approximately 500,000 m3 annually for our main customers Dunkley, Hampton and Sinclar. Summary
As a Log Processor operator at Ubleis Logging Ltd., you will play a vital role in our logging operations, utilizing your skills to operate heavy machinery and harvest timber efficiently. This position is essential for maintaining our commitment to quality and sustainability in the logging industry. Our office and shop are located in Fort St. James and our worksites vary from Fort St. James, Mackenzie, and Prince George. This position may require the employee to stay in a camp/hotel.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment efficiently and safely.
- Utilize tools for various tasks related to logging operations.
- Perform daily maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain safety standards.
- Utilize technology for mapping and planning logging activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience operating Link Belt Log Processors roadside on the block
- Safety consciousness
- Class 5 drivers license
- Efficient Production
- A good work ethic
- Willing to stay in a company provided hotel/camp
- Respectful communication with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
