Canaco Industries is a small machine shop with a unique environment and engaging projects making custom parts for a wide variety of industries. Canaco offers the opportunity to participate in building an organization that challenges and provides a sense of accomplishment.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of CNC milling and lathes as well as working knowledge and experience of current CAD/CAM software (Mastercam an asset). The ideal candidate would be self motivated, an innovative thinker and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • minimum 5 years of experience programming and operating
  • ability to set up and run jobs from digital files, drawings, sketches and sample parts
  • ability to set up and operate multiple machines at one time
  • ability to navigate both new and old technology
  • experience with conversational machines an asset
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • flexible hours / staggered start times available
  • excellent command of the English language

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
