CNC MACHINIST APPRENTICE
We are looking for an entry-level machinist to join our team as a CNC Machinist Apprentice. Applicants MUST live in Canada and have work authorization - we are NOT looking to hire out of country.
Duties will include:
- Operating CNC lathes, mills, and wire EDM
- General cleaning duties
- Saw work and material prep
- Shipping & receiving as required
- Programming with Mastercam
This role is for someone early in their career who is willing to learn, show up on time, and ready to work with a positive attitude as part of a team. Opportunities for advancement available. This is a training position to learn the trade and advance to the position of Setup Machininst, CNC Programmer, or General Machinist.
Successful applicants will be enrolled in the Ontario Apprenticeship Program.
**Requirements**:
- Must have own transport to and from work
- Hours - 8:00 - 5:00 Monday to Thursday, Friday 8:00 - 2:00
- Overtime is available, but not required
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- Preferred Precision Manufacturing Trades Certificate, but not required
- Preferred mechanical work experience, but not required
- A positive attitude, with safe working habits always kept in mind
