CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

We are looking for an entry-level machinist to join our team as a CNC Machine Operator. Applicants MUST live in Canada and have work authorization - we are NOT looking to hire out of country.

Duties will include:

- Operating CNC lathes, mills, and wire EDM
- General cleaning duties
- Saw work and material prep
- Shipping & receiving as required
- Programming with Mastercam

This role is for someone early in their career who is willing to learn, show up on time, and ready to work with a positive attitude as part of a team. Opportunities for advancement available. This is a training position to learn the trade and advance to the position of Setup Machininst, CNC Programmer, or General Machinist.

Successful applicants will be enrolled in the Ontario Apprenticeship Program once they have demonstrated the above necessary traits for success.

**Requirements**:

- Must have own transport to and from work
- Hours - 8:00 - 5:00 Monday to Thursday, Friday 8:00 - 3:00
- Overtime is available, but not required
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- Preferred mechanical work experience, but not required
- A positive attitude, with safe working habits always kept in mind
