Job description

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
  • Prepare and serve drinks and food items consistently by adhering to all drink preparation standards.
  • Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and retail products.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Opening and closing duties include handling cash, dialing in espresso and drip coffee, and cash out.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience as barista, knowledge of coffee and profiles.
  • Food safe level 1. (optional)
  • previous experience in a cafe or restaurant environment. (optional)

The Measures Of Success:

  • Contribution to daily sales goals.
  • Individual objectives linked to the achievement of the cafe.
  • Feedback from internal review after a probationary period of 3 months.
