Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Barista/Cashiers, available for both full-time and part-time positions. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are fresh and properly displayed.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Engage in sales activities by promoting menu items and upselling when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Previous barista or coffee experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
  • Experience in food service or the food industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is advantageous but not mandatory.
