We are seeking an experienced and motivated Barista with open availability to join our team. Café Marco Polo Baristas create the welcoming atmosphere for our customers and take pride in their work and understand the impact of genuine customer service.

Under the direction and support of our Café Manager, as a Barista you will have a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

- Welcoming customers to accept orders, prepare food and drink items, and receive payments.
- Educate our customers on our products and offerings.
- Follow all set food and drink recipe specs and procedures to ensure menu items are delivered with consistency and superior quality.
- Routine cleaning of all café areas, including the outdoor seating areas, also cleaning and upkeep of the café equipment.
- Perform and sign off on opening and closing duties when scheduled for open or close shifts.
- Arrive at the café for your shift with a positive attitude, on time, well-groomed, and otherwise prepared.
- Other related duties that may be assigned by the café or shift manager

**Do you have the following?**
- Previous Barista experience (willing to train).
- Food handling experience (willing to train).
- POS, and cash handling experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- A positive attitude, confidence, and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
- Open and/or flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35-40 per week

**Salary**: From $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
