Who Are We Looking For

As a Senior Contract Administrator, you are instrumental in supporting project teams during the construction phase to make sure contractual responsibilities are fulfilled, bridging communication between on-site personnel and the studio, and swiftly tackle any issues that emerge. You integrate construction and design expertise with strong leadership skills to effectively navigate day-to-day on-site project needs, ensuring successful project delivery that meet and aim to exceed client expectations.

What You Will Do

  • Guide project team through deliverables review to ensure alignment with design intent, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Review submittals such as shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups, for conformance with drawings and specifications; prepare RFI responses and change documentation.
  • Evaluate contractors' monthly progress claims, coordinate approvals, guide preparation of payment certificates and project closeout documents.
  • Conduct site inspections and deficiency walkthroughs to monitor construction progress; document and communicate critical findings to stakeholders to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) and additional site meetings, taking an active role in discussions.
  • Identify changes in Contract Administration scope and communicate these to the Project Manager for the preparation of Additional Service Authorizations (ASAs).
  • Assist Project Managers on project financial management including fee proposals, billing and collections.

What You Will Bring

  • Diploma in Architectural Technology or Degree in Architecture.
  • Proficiency in Revit, MS Office, Bluebeam.
  • Minimum 8 years of Architectural experience including Contract Administration.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess a valid G Driver's License and have a personal vehicle available for daily business use.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role, with 2 days in the Studio.

What We Will Provide

The expected gross annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $110,000. Final compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
