Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Insurance Professional Instructor located in Surrey, BC.

Hours of availabilitty:

Monday to Friday 5pm-10pm

Must be located in the Lower Mainland.

The Instructor will be responsible for teaching insurance-related courses, developing and delivering lesson plans, evaluating student progress, and providing feedback. The role also involves advising and mentoring students, ensuring course materials are up to date, and collaborating with faculty and staff. Some work from home is acceptable for this position.

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Degree or Credentials with a Combination of Knowledge and experience in the insurance industry
  • Teaching and and lesson planning skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to evaluate and provide constructive feedback to students
  • Proficiency in using technology for teaching and administrative tasks
  • Flexibility to adapt to a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Education, or related field
  • Experience in post-secondary education is a plus
