Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable Log Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills.

Duties

  • Operate and drive truck to transport roundwood to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
  • 12 hrs. shifts, both days and nights. Extra shifts available.
  • Not less than 60hrs per week.
  • Home daily.
  • Location Chipman, NB.
  • Competitive wages based on experience and responsibility.
  • Bonus pay based on production.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1E drivers license is required.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of transportation processes.
  • Winter driving, off road skills will be an asset.
  • Must be willing to chain up as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
