Central New Brunswick Woodlands - JD Irving Ltd., is seeking an experienced Mobile Truck Technician to join our Operations Team

Compensation:
- $ $40.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
- Responsible for performing maintenance and mechanical repairs on heavy equipment, including log trucks, and trailers (experience working with other heavy equipment is an asset).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to brakes, electrical systems, air systems, hydraulics, etc.
- Conduct inspections and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Troubleshooting equipment and perform equipment repairs.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure prompt and efficient equipment mobilization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work truck.
- Work with supervisors on various tasks.
- Provide support for onsite safety requirements.
- Some other garage-related activities, as required.
- A company vehicle will be provided with space for tools.
- Work flexible hours as needed to support operational demands.
- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic certification is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract are essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience working on tractor trailers.
- Able to live within a reasonable distance of our operation (Central New Brunswick) Call for details.
