What you'll do

  • Operate your own tractor-trailer with precision, ensuring safe transport of freight across various routes.
  • Manage Hopper B-train trailer, loads while maintaining product integrity.
  • Navigate long-haul routes effectively, planning stops and managing time to meet delivery schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records as required by regulations.
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road.
  • Daily trips to Grand Rapids Michigan for pickups,
  • Delivery to Kitcher/ Guelph/ Arthur areas

Basic qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL/ Class A) with a clean driving record.
  • 3 years Minimum experience in truck driving,
  • Experience with border crossing protocols,
  • Clean abstracts and criminal record.
  • Valid Passport
  • Grain Hauling knowledge
  • Truck has to be 2015 and up
  • Sleeper cab on truck
  • ELD experience
  • Owner Operator Trucks Only

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week
