Position Overview:

As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be the backbone of our operation, ensuring the timely and accurate movement of parts and materials. You will manage inventory, manage incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintain an organized, efficient warehouse environment. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in contributing to the overall success of the team. You will work closely with different departments to ensure all orders are processed and delivered on time, playing a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments against packing slips or purchase orders
  • Accurately label, sort, and store incoming parts in designated locations
  • Pick and pack parts orders for internal departments, customers, and branch transfers
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, documentation, and carrier coordination
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory transactions in the system
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area
  • Communicate with the parts team and other departments to ensure timely processing of orders
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager or Supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to 50 lbs)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
