Job Summary

The Product Development Project Manager supports the end-to-end product lifecycle for security surveillance systems, ensuring successful execution from concept to mass production. This role serves as a central operational hub, bridging the gap between internal Product Managers and external manufacturing partners.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented organizer with a strong aptitude for technology. You will play a key role in managing project schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating clear communication across cross-functional teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution:

  • Assist in day-to-day project execution, including maintaining schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring resources are aligned with timeline requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for manufacturing partners to review development progress, track build readiness, and ensure clear communication of technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Technical Support, to manage deliverable for product launches.

Product Support & Analysis:

  • Support engineering teams during the validation phase by organizing prototype evaluations, tracking issue lists (bug tracking), and monitoring resolution progress.
  • Assist in the creation of sales enablement materials, including product training documents and specification sheets.
  • Conduct market analysis and research on emerging technologies to support the Product Management team's roadmap planning.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in product coordination, manufacturing operations, or project management.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (Spoken and Written) is Required to facilitate daily discussions with manufacturing partners.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents (e.g., Spec Sheets, BOMs) and quickly learn new product technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
  • Familiarity with regulatory certification processes (FCC, IC, CE) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the consumer electronic or IoT industry in a strong asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaboration, cross-functional environment.
