Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. This role offers an opportunity to lead diverse teams, ensure project quality, and maintain adherence to safety standards and project timelines. The Construction Supervisor will play a critical role in managing daily operations, supervising personnel, and ensuring projects meet all specifications and client expectations.

Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and schedules
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications
  • Monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with industry regulations
  • Manage project budgets by tracking costs and assisting with construction estimating as needed
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions promptly
  • Lead and supervise construction teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents accurately
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety standards within the construction sector
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within budget constraints
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes related to construction projects
  • Certification or experience in construction management or related fields is preferred
